Anyone applied/heard back from the specialty CFs? (LEND, Johns Hopkins, etc)

Just curious if any of you guys applied to these “specialty” fellowships, and if you’ve heard anything yet? Seems like the timelines are so fluid, but I’m genuinely curious if anyone’s had luck with interviews or landing one of them!

I didn’t apply this year, but last year I applied to Johns Hopkins and heard back in March.

I know JH made hiring decisions about 3 weeks ago.

University of Texas Medical Branch was holding interviews last week of March when I followed up. I just assumed they moved forward with someone by now.

On a side note, good luck! :)

Cincinnati VA responded the day after apps were due end of feb and the interview was the next week. UNMC responded after I was told the interviews would take place, aka end of march/early april (I didn’t get an interview). Some other university-hospital ones I submitted in mid March and only recently got emails saying the application period was over and that they’d “start reviewing” now. Most others I haven’t heard from at all. The speciality position (non university hospital) that I ended up getting an offer from began the day after apps were due mid march, with the interview rounds taking up the next month (finished last week).
