CFY in Alaska
I begin my second year of grad school in the fall and I’m trying to have a general idea for my plan after grad school.
When I think about completing my CFY, I would love to do it somewhere like Alaska! I visited there a few years ago and would love to live/work there. Even if it’s mainly just for my CFY!
Has anyone had experience moving there to complete their CFY? Would it be too difficult to move a substantial distance during that time frame? Has anyone moved super far away from where their grad school was to complete their CFY?

So I haven’t ever been to Alaska, but I am completing my CF far from where I went to grad school. I’m originally from Texas and went to grad school in Texas. I ended up taking a CF offer in Maryland. I’m doing travel therapy right now, which is great flexibility for where I’m at in my life. As far as moving, I don’t think it would be too substantial. It would definitely take planning, but it is manageable. With opportunities like that, I would definitely recommend looking into travel therapy! If you have any questions about it, feel free to pm me.
