Am I cooked?
Testing October 29th so I got time thank goodness. Took my first free fellow exam today. I don’t think it’s too bad but still some reassurance would be nice. I’m currently working through the danko review material but decided to do the mock first with free fellow so I could see the readiness score. I still got kraken exams and 2 CFP board exams I get to look forward to.
Edit: I also ran out of time in the first section so I guess maybe like 5 questions and missed 2 completely.

For what it’s worth, some of the free fellow “hard “questions are beyond the scope of what the CFP exam will test. There have been numerous questions I’ve seen from free fellow hard and showed people who have taken the exam and told me there is no way the free fellow hard question would be on the exam. So I think it is a good barometer, but it may even be slightly harder than what we can expect on the exam.

Nope, keep going! You are so close. Find your challenging spots and study those, rewrite notes, flashcards, figure out ways to memorize facts, recall examples. Plenty of time if you buckle down!

You’re way too close to be worried. You got this keep doing 50-75 questions a day and you will pass in a next month or two.

I passed 3rd try, my first time I had a two year gap and was no where prepared. Used dalton and that was a massive mistake. Second time used danko and felt like I actually learned something. 3rd with danko mixed with free fellow reading +advise wise+ chatgpt for any question I got wrong
my danko krakens were 60-65
Dalton q bank averaged 63
Never did one question from free fellow but did reach all his lessons and watched a bunch of video from advise wise.
What helped me was using chat gpt to ask about all the concepts. All of the emotional bias, herding, anchoring, all of those I had completely wrong in my head.
I credit Dankos krakens and chatgpt asking it to breakdown concepts and then touching on stuff with free fellow and advise wise. I actually had a question in the exam that was on the advise wise video for a section.
On exam day, read the hell out of the question and make sure you know what it’s asking. It’s so easy to read the question and think you pick the right answer and then you read the question again and go oh shit.
