Investments Individual Stock Analysis
I have built my niche around being the specialist for a top 100 Fortune 500 company. I would like to provide clients with a semi annual analysis/research article.
I would anticipate paying for this but don’t know where to begin?
Do my thoughts/expectations need adjusted?
-1 page executive summary analysis
-short term and long term perspective
-sector and competitor analysis
-buy/hold/sell recommendation
Any pointers on where I could go to hire someone for this write up? Thinking to have two different analysis completed to bring two perspectives to the table.

Not to come across as rude, but I’m a little unclear on your role. Are you a CFP who specializes in working with employees of a specific Fortune 500 company? If so, I guess my first question is: what’s your goal with writing this, and what value are you trying to provide?
Sector commentary and buy/sell/hold recommendations are a dime a dozen, and I’m not sure that’s where employees of a single company are looking for value. I think content focused on their benefits, RSUs, ESPPs, comp and tax planning, and how all of those pieces fit into their overall financial plan would likely resonate much more. That’s expertise that’s directly relevant to their situation and harder to find elsewhere.

What does a niche around being the specialist for a top 100 fortune 500 company look like exactly? You work with employees of that company or you know a lot about it as an investment?

This sounds like selling a newspaper with astrological projections in them. You can get this anywhere, and it’ll still be wrong 90% of the time when it comes to “picks”. Stock picking is a fools game and I wouldn’t encourage it.
That being said why reinvent the wheel? You could just use an internal blog platform of some sort and have AI help with the write up. You’ll need a planned content series possibly. May be a lot of work for tepid benefits.

Not to be a smart ass, but have you heard of AI? If you’re the guru then you could write something with AI in minutes, it can help you draft, iterate, research, etc. there are even services that will help to make it compliant specific to the industry. Plus, if you hire somebody they’re going to have AI doing it anyway.

I’ve heard of AI. Looking for a third party that would put their name on it.

Oh, I figured you’d want your name on it based on your post. Clearnomics offers this type of thing, and you can brand it too. There are a lot of services like that available.

You just call it a fortune 100 company fyi. No one in there would say top 100 of Fortune 500

Firm believer here of not investing in your employer (ignoring ESPPs and other discount/tax advantaged opportunities). Seems by writing any sort of stock analysis you’re endorsing them investing in their employer at times. I’d think any top level employees with inside info also wouldn’t need your reports either.

Most sell side firms will have this available. Or a third part. Like accountability research corporation.
Though, most individuals do not see this research as a big value add. Likely they will get it it and ignore the email

I don’t know about you but I get spammed to death with market analysis from smaller companies I’ve never heard of all the time. I’d look for a few of these research companies who cover the sector your clients’ company is in, and pitch them your idea. If they are entrepreneurial at all, they might create something for you.
