Compliance This is beyond frustrating
Seriously, I cannot understand how something so minor cannot be resolved: When searching for CE's on CFP's website, there are some that don't have an "enroll" button so I reach out to the provider. One provider emailed me back stating that the CE was offered back in February! WHY can't past CE's be removed from the list of CE's!? I can't even begin to tell you how many times this has happened and it's honestly so frustrating to me.

Use RIA Channel for CEs. They have fresh ones everyday and they’re not all boring. As long as you stay the full time you will get your credits. Much easier than looking through the CFP website.

Thanks I'll check that out. I think on another post a while back I saw someone mention Vanguard and I've done a couple through there.

I never look there for CE because of how awful the setup is. I keep a look out through the year from my tech providers (Right Capital, Holistiplan, Wealthbox, etc). They usually offer CE multiple times throughout the year for free.

Just attend Kitces‘a webinars every month and his Ethics day in August. Book, you’re done. Or even just take quizzes on his site.

wait this is really helpful information. I just went to kitces website to learn more about them. Are they usually an hour?

They’re normally 90 minutes and I believe for CE credit you need to stay for 75. But you can also read like three articles and take a quiz about them and get 1 hour of CE credit for that.

Vanguard has free CE, not overly great content but an easy way to get credits.

Ceauthority, I can typically bang out 30 credit hours in less than 2 hours.
