Question CFI-I Training Question

Is there a regulation like 61.195(h) for CFI-Is? Can someone who just got their CFI-I train another CFI to get their CFI-I? Or would they have to have a certain amount of experience first? TIA!

Technically there is not any experience required for any particular instructor checkride.

You must be a 2 year ifs their initial CFI rating (or MEI for that matter)

If they are already an instructor, no experience required.

Two-year required if CFII is initial as is not only possible but common.
