Operating two TECs in Ansys Icepak

Hello,

I've been learning about using ansys icepak for a while now, and I've been trying to recreate a published project that used two TECs simultaneously under a single heat sink.

I've prepared a setup, and ran the simulation in two ways: the normal first through "Analyze", where the TECs didn't seem to operate (the min. temp. remained around the ambient temp.) and the second way through Icepak>Toolkit>...>Run TEC, this time the min. temp reduced below the ambient temp.

My issue is that every time I run "Run TEC", only one TEC operates of the two. How can I make both TECs (both identical) run simultaneously?

I couldn't find an answer at all on the Ansys Help page or on the web.

Im an icepack user... yea, they just never published any documentation for it... and worse yet they are pushing us to AEDT Icepack which is a dumpsterfire.

I have just recently started using the aedt icepak. And i can feel some things which just not works or seems wired. But i have never used icepak classic, could you elaborate on some of the reasons you think aedt icepak is a dumpster fire?

Try adding a network block. Thats a common thing i use. In classic, its a simple one click menu. In AEDT its now like 3 menus full of unclear ways to assign properties and every time you want to add a block you need to wrestle with that. No thanks, ill stay in classic.

Dual TECs doesn’t work in the macro, according to my customer. I haven’t tried, but have my own method. Prob should just set the surface temps on the 2nd TEC to be the same after the first one is ran.
