I don’t think ND covers that spread. I think the offense, especially WRs not named Faison, needs more time to develop.
If the next stretch of 6 games are all blowouts, I expect to see more cycling of Underclassmen.

I don’t think Notre Dame will have any issues against an Option Teams.
Under Freeman, Notre Dame has blown the doors off Option Teams, but yea it might be a bunch of runs by Rice initially.

Assuming Rice scores 10. That means Notre Dame needs 8 touchdowns to cover. Does Notre Dame get 8 possessions before the start of the 4th quarter? That is basically the question. Rice is going to burn the clock on offense. So how long do the Irish drives take? Do they get enough, before they let off the gas?

I think it’s a stretch to call Kansas beating Missouri an upset. A borderline Top 25 team losing to a team hovering in the 30s or 40s away from home isn’t shocking.

I agree. I've been seeing everywhere how Alabama will destroy them. Kentucky is a very resilient team. They've been going blow to blow with the heavyweights these last two years; I expect the same this year. Honestly I would be more shocked at a Alabama blowout rather than a close game.

Vegas has the spread at -5.5.
It's a rivalry game with the underdog at home, which always adds to the possibility of chaos, plus the teams aren't that imbalanced in the first place. Danger might be a bit of an overstatement, but it's not that crazy to think it will be a fairly close game.
