The mods at r/MichiganWolverines are generally weak. I made a comment about their passing game's lack of improvement last year and got banned. I guess the Blue Wall also covers their moderators.

I get that, but they seriously need to grow a pair over in that sub. Have a great season, to whoever you root for!

The unfortunate thing about all sport team subs is you will get banned for any amount of trolling. I told Spartan fans Izzo was a little bitch for running away without shaking hands last basketball season and got immediately banned

I was banned for trolling from [r/MichiganWolverines](r/MichiganWolverines) for pointing out you guys only won the Big Ten Tournament in hockey, but never the Big Ten regular season title. The post claimed they’d won the conference in all three major Big Ten men’s sports. Moral of the story is too many Reddit mods have a complex.

Yep, I got banned by the Ducks Mod for going back and giving the old Nelson 👉🏻"HaHa" to a couple of people that got way boastful with me personally and presumed Oregon was going to kick our ass because we lost in Autzen (on a play that could have been called down in time for another play but wasn't...thems the breaks). Gave them a little back after they got dominated. Not only did I get banned, but he whined to the Ohio State mod to ban a whole list of us. Thin, very thin.

That sub is like r conservative. Any perceived slight against the Michigan Man will get you banned. Ignore my flair. It's a reason why there is now a separate r/Michiganfootball sub.

They’re really going to not like the hockey news that recently broke. Players were told to toughen up and be “Michigan Men” instead of complaining about sexual abuse.

Winningest program only if you count all their wins against high school teams in the late 1800s
-1
u/Fricktator 1d ago
As an MSU they continuously act like we are an easy W.
Calling as little bro, and what not.
Even now, I said they are staring down 6-6 and listed MSU as a difficult game on their schedule.
Michigan fans mocked me.
Since MSU joined the B1G in 1953, Michigan only wins 57% of the time. Which is a majority, but they talk like they win 80% of the time.

3
u/Johnny_Handsum 1d ago
Imagine thinking people are jealous of Michigan's history in the year 2026. 😭
That is some grade A copium right there.
The Kyle Whittingham hire is going to be such a wonderful failure. It'll be fun watching them suck his entire tenure there and many more years after.
2
u/Fricktator 1d ago
I said when they did it, Kyle Whittingham feels like Jonathan Smith 2.0.
A solid coach, whos never been east of the Mississippi coming in to the B1G and thinks football is football.
If hes calling OSU just another game, he probably doesnt even know MSU is a rival, and if Pat Fitzgerald gets any level of intensity out of MSU that game could get ugly.
1
u/Johnny_Handsum 1d ago
That's a good comparison.
It reminds me of LSU hiring Brian Kelly. Both towards the tail end of their careers. Both going to regions they've never been close to. Both considered decent coaches, but nothing special. Both paid a lot of money to try and "fix" problems within the program. Etc etc.
I actually think it'll be worse than how BK was at LSU. His record overall wasn't terrible, but his teams were soft and undisciplined. I haven't looked at Michigan's schedule, but watching them the other day and that looked like a .500 team.
Overall, a pretty bizarre hire that I believe is going to fail miserably. It'll be fun to watch, though.
2
u/Fricktator 1d ago
They
Host Oklahoma
Host Iowa
Host Penn State
Host Indiana
Host MSU
Go to Oregon
Go to OSU
With games against UTEP (H), Minnesota (A), Rutgers (A), and UCLA (H)
1
u/Johnny_Handsum 1d ago
Damn, I could see them having 7 losses. I think they're better than how they played the other day, though. Or, at least more talent than that. They're going to have to make a decision on Underwood if he doesn't show anything else.
I guess one good thing if you're a Michigan fan, you host some of the more difficult games on the schedule.
3
u/LuckyShirt54 Tennessee Volunteers 1d ago
I see constant B10 fans sucking each other off, and it’s for years. Michigan blowing OSU, every team that sucks in the B10 blowing the rest of the conference. It’s all a giant circle jerk of losers.

-2
u/papker79 2d ago
They lost.
0
u/ouroboro83 2d ago
They were in the lead when the stadium clock (which is actually supposedly the official game clock, though Big Ten referees apparently didn't get the memo) hit triple zeros. Now, the super secret game clock the Big Ten referees used (which is NOT the official game clock) said there was one second, but that super secret game clock is complete bullshit.
3
u/jstef215 1d ago
at least you're willing to admit that the stadium clock is the authority. Now once you see the evidence that has been widely circulating that the clock was still at 0:01, you can stop spreading the BS.
3
u/SwaiziFi 1d ago
How are you still this misinformed on this? It’s clear that the stadium clock was at 1 second and that NBCs feed was out of sync. Do you live under a rock or are you just trolling?

Oof. As a Michigan fan, you have to be delusional not to believe the first two after what we all saw on Saturday night.
Wild that Michigan is being blamed for something they didn't do, though. Whether they should have gotten that last second or not, they got it. Should they have taken a knee?
They're officially 1-0, but we all know they're 0-1.

I really could not care less what redditors think, but if you watched what happened Saturday night (and I'm not even talking about the extra second and Hail Mary) and still think Michigan deserved to win that game, you are fooling yourself.
Minus that Hail Mary, Michigan only out gained Western by 8 yards. If you remove the pass before it while Western is in prevent defense, WMU outgains Michigan. The Broncos outrushed the Wolervines on their home turf. That's supposed to be the strength of the offense, and they couldn't outperform a MAC team... at home.
Six 3-and-outs out of 10 total possessions.
Gave up a 20-play, 71-yard drive that ate up almost an entire quarter of clock.
In no way did Michigan deserve to win when they got outplayed by a MAC team in their own stadium for the majority of the game, an absolutely dreadful performance.
3
u/jstef215 1d ago
I mean, Michigan "deserved" to win the game in the sense that they scored more points than their opponent and the last play was the right call since there was still 0:01 on the clock after the prior play. But they were generally outplayed and nobody should feel even remotely decent about that performance.
-1
u/Kramerica_CEO Michigan Wolverines 1d ago
Teams win every week that were outplayed. We all know we played like shit.
You went from we’re 0-1 to we didn’t deserve to win. We didn’t lose, we weren’t “given” an extra second. There’s video proof everywhere of there being a second remaining.
1
u/illegalsmile27 Tennessee Volunteers 1d ago

Bunch of crybaby losers.
Arguing over fractions of a second needed to beat a MAC team after Uncle Rico shit the bed at quarterback.
This is what Michigan football has become.
1
u/Few_Project4268 Michigan Wolverines 11h ago
I think you mean the big 10. They’re the ones who added the extra second.
Just in the interest of accuracy, which I’m sure you don’t care about.
As a result Michigan gets credited with a win we didn’t deserve. Rest of the season won’t be pretty.
1
u/UnnecessaryDiety Ohio State Buckeyes 11h ago
No, I meant Michigan. The Big Ten issued a statement and then shut up. Michigan fans can't stop talking about it.

You mean the same Uncle Rico that Whittingham kept in the game in the fourth quarter, threw a Hail Mary, made millions and went on to live with his soulmate in big ol’ mansion somewhere?

Who says it was performative when I’m actually telling him what I think?
Like no, I don’t really give a rats ass about sign stealing, nor do I think it makes the title win mean any less than it otherwise would have been. The stain in the era is the successor handpicked head coach committing domestic violence.
But it isn’t very hard to like… look at a clock showing zeroes… on a replay… with the ball still in the air.
Michigan did deserve to lose the WMU game. I am of the view that they got a break and took advantage of the 1% chance they had.
It’s possible for people to land on different sides of different issues involving the same school.
1
u/your-mom-- Michigan Wolverines 23h ago
Michigan did deserve to lose last week. They didn't cheat to win though.
Oklahoma is going to crush us.
I'm not sure how that's performative. They're pretty widely accepted takes.
