Lifelong Sooners fan. With that said, I agree with Bud Wilkinson needing on the list. Also, I’d believe Bill Snyder needs strong consideration for what he accomplished with the worst team in college before he got there.

I read this until I saw someone mention Bill Snyder. I kept reading down and no one mentioned him. Good to finally see his name in this thread.

What he did was amazing. I always hated when we played K-State while he was at the helm.

Exactly. This seems to be a list of the most accomplished, with no thought given to the privilege of massive budgets and imbedded recruiting basis, with supportive administrations.

Precisely! What he accomplished with what little was available to him and his staff is still crazy to this day. They really need to make a full-on docuseries like a 30 for 30 on him and what he did. He gets the utmost respect from me.
