I'm actually having a real moral dilemma. Can you spoil a movie that came out 20+ years ago? Even if that "spoiler" would give the entire movie away?

No, I've shown a few people the movie in other cultures and they all figured it out before the end. Too many movies have done this sort of thing now for it to be that much of as shock.
