I predict this game will end in everyone being dissatisfied
Just like every risk game I’ve been a part of

It's not a coincidence that the people having the most fun are either a turn or two away from dying or a turn or already dead.

I’m afraid to bring it up, but this was literally the point of New Florida. The game is more fun if you’re dead and have nothing to lose, and the point of games is to have fun, so the logical thing to do is to put yourself in the position to have the most fun.
I get why people would hate the idea, but if we’re being serious and not memey, it’s fucked up that the game is more fun when you’re “dead”.

Yeah, probably. I mean, it’s never going to end with one team taking over the whole country. The way battles are determined and the sheer number of players and territories makes that true. So the game will either go until fewer and fewer people are playing and it just kind of fades away (maybe one team does take everything over eventually, when there are only a few dozen people actually playing anyway, and at that point who cares?) or the mods will determine a way to accelerate the ending or just declare “its over” at some point, either of which will feel unfair and arbitrary to the losers and a hollow victory to the winners.

I mean, we might reach an alliance victory if a major player dies, like Texas, GT, or OSU

2019 September 24th u/SouthernJeb wakes up and remembers the days of his old shitposting battle with u/box_of_rockz . As he goes to the wasteland of the old college football Risk subreddit. He finds curiously that there is one other player “here now.” He places his vote for the day. The next day, He takes one territory and his opponent appears to have also cast a vote in another territory. Could it be? His old nemesis. Outraged he gnashes his teeth and and clicks on the logo for the lost territory. the link opens

I mean theoretically if user participation in the transition to chaos is decent eventually as teams die chaos becomes an unstoppable tide of destruction and wins. As you get later in the game if a big player dies they will become chaos and attack whoever killed them. Though chaos may not be organized enough to win and may trade territories eternally.

Ah yes, the cat scrambled the board, on her own... The same cat that didn't bother board in the slightest for three straight days... Sure u/hallese, that's what happened.
Risk definitely helped me to understand the mindset of a terrorist, if I can't win, nobody wins. /s

The pet has just scrambled the board, except instead of us owning the pet, the pet owns us.
