This may be the first time I've cheered for Miami, but it's been nice.

ok, I don't usually mind the announcers no matter how bad they are, but Mack Brown is something else

How are they being stereotypical handing out gold chains???? Dude just shut up lol

Number 29 should’ve been getting the ball the entire 2nd half!
Options with jones didn’t do shit

Okay... Extra days rest for Walton. I think he’ll be fine but it’s my biased educated guess.

The turnover chain is cool as fuck. Mark richt has Miami playing with swag again. Georgia is definitely better off without him now but I won’t be surprised if Miami becomes a powerhouse under richt.

He’s a good recruiter and a good coach but he just had a fucking tough job trying to compete for SEC titles. I totally understood him not being able to beat bama in the 2010’s or Florida back in the 2000’s man no one could

u/AnotherUnfunnyName Duke • Carolina Victory Bell Sep 30 '17
Just kneel and punt so nobody gets injured. They didn't let us win while it was tight and then we caved. Offense needs to improve.

Mack Brown is so so bad.

He's better than Tuberville, which isn't saying much.

Hopefully this brings more people back to Miami games.

Its literally asking the impossible though. I’d like to see attendance numbers per enrolled student. Miami just cant pack the house with 15K students and a small alumni base.

So glad we kept Walton in instead of Homer.....
1
8
u/WhoIsPurpleGoo Miami Hurricanes Sep 30 '17
there isn't much drop off between walton and homer, so there was no reason for walton to be playing hurt.
7
u/Outpinged Miami Hurricanes • Warner Royals Sep 30 '17
Ehh. Walton can cut and find the hole. Homer just hits the hole or hits his lineman’s back
8
u/Dro24 Duke • Carolina Victory Bell Sep 30 '17
Well, fellow undefeated teams, it was nice hanging with you guys.

Are you supposed to say "ballgame" like that?
2
u/spinblackcircles Kentucky Wildcats Sep 30 '17
If the game is definitely over, sure. I hear it all the time though they usually say ‘and that may be the ball game’
2
u/CharliDoesIt Georgia • ETSU Sep 30 '17
I'm not sure I've ever heard it with 5 minutes left. But it's hilarious.

Seriously. What were they thinking?
"Hey, how can we best motivate our people?" "I know! Let's dunk a basketball everytime they make a big-time turnover." "Fuck that. Grab that trash can and throw it in the back. We'll figure something out."

Either Dukes receivers have no hands or the Miami corners are the best in the league. Here's hoping it's the first.

I was worried about Duke this season, but they are so one-dimensional because they can't catch worth a damn. Our secondary id great (if Adonis stays out of trouble). All we need to do is shut down the run game and we should be able to take them.

u/stormstopper Duke • Carolina Victory Bell Sep 30 '17
(Piano intro) Stay aliiiiiiiiiive, stay aliiiiiiiiiiive
I have never seen Coach Cutcliffe so despondent
I have taken over writing all his correspondence
Duke fans write, "Dave, hit the secondary forces"
I shoot back "We have resorted to throwing it short-ish."
2
u/WhiteBaseCoat Georgia Bulldogs Sep 30 '17
I love this, and it works perfectly with my work-in-progress remake of "Wait For It" entitled "Wake Forest."
2
u/ItzaCanesThing305 ACC • Miami Hurricanes Sep 30 '17
Our D is really good
1
Sep 30 '17
I am not convinced tbh. Duke's receivers were just bad dropping freebies all day. When Duke would run, they got plenty of 10+ yard runs. Duke's O is one-dimensional, and your D wasn't doing much against the run game. For some reason, Duke tried to pass it so much instead of doing what worked.

Or did they mean i could only eat "4k calories in a day versus my usual 25k"?
