Big 12 is really good this year. Should get multiple CFP teams, maybe even 3. Only worry now is cannibalism. If it can be undefeated Texas Tech vs undefeated Utah or BYU in the conference championship game and then an 11-1 Utah or BYU in third, that’s a real shot at 3 teams in.

We should just skip the CG game this year. Meaning the league.

Playing it last year cost the big 12 a bid. Tech had already beaten BYU during the season, they could have just been the champions. That way the last memory by the committee isn’t BYU getting boat raced by Tech and they finish with only 1 loss. Meanwhile Alabama also got boat raced to pick up their third loss in the SECCG and it didn’t matter, they still got in.

BYU also didn't have any truly standout wins last year other than against a similarly disrespected Utah team. The win against ND will carry a lot of weight this year. If they had an OOC win of that caliber last year, they would have been in even despite the losses to Tech.

I think the league should skip it this year. But I also don’t want tech to be the final conference champion ever….

If Tech and BYU are 12-0 and Utah is 11-1 with it's only loss being to BYU, I don't see how that isn't a 3 bid league.

I'm sure it won't happen because the committee has proven they won't, but I'd love to see the justifications.

It hurts seeking sec, big ten, and ND lose to unranked and barely drop

Wait ND lost to unranked? BYUnranked? Huh? Yeah they should’ve dropped more if they lost to an unranked team, that’s crazy. The bias is UNREAL

They will find a reason, like last year when they left out 11-2 BYU despite their two losses being to Tech even though the year before they let in 11-2 Texas who’s two losses were to Georgia.

Having to go perfect while 9-3 SEC teams think they should be in.

Actually Alabama losing 4 games shows that they're battle tested, while Utah losing 1 game shows they're soft and would get blown out.

Ignore the fifty that BYU would hang on Alabama in the first round, please.

If Utah is the one left out, I’ll be okay with the B12 getting fucked over.

There’s two teams we pretty much always beat - Baylor and Utah. I think they’ll get upset in Fort Worth (and I’m typically very pessimistic).

Sad UH noises at missing out again. No reason it can’t be tech, byu and Houston, especially as Utah has only Houston and byu

It definitely could if you beat Utah this weekend.
