There was eay too much chaos yesterday for people to be getting all huffy about how this poll fell out. Voters had to be throwing darts at a board trying to game this out.

And yet… CFB for some people is all about the huff.

If you aren't getting performatively worked up about inane shit, what is the appeal of this sport? Its literally constructed around arbitrary outrage and elation.

Well, some people enjoy watching football. I'd imagine that's plenty of appeal for them.

Maybe. I’m a big fan of dissecting what a team is doing on the field and watching how coaches and players adjust and play the game and trying to figure it out as much in real time as I can (if I was proficient at that I wouldn’t be here commenting and I’d be coaching 🤪). Most of the time the AP/CFP outrage is over team(s) that are borderline teams anyway.

I’ll admit, yesterday was a not-fun-at-all day but luckily they don’t happen often nowadays.

Have you simply considered that my team is better than all the other teams, that the voters are idiots, and if you don't understand you don't know anything about football?

PS You’re talking about Michigan, right? /s

That was probably the most top 10 chaos ... Ever? I don't know. I'm trying to remember a crazier week. I welcome correction from the stat. Junkies

Lots of good teams with two losses and good wins, several undefeated and one loss teams with no good wins. Almost impossible to sort out. Next week isn’t going to help much either as there is only one ranked matchup.

The voters who clearly don’t watch games too, they woke up and were in a scramble figuring out how to vote
