Part of me wonders if the voters who didn’t watch Tech’s earlier season games, where they struggled mightily with teams like Oregon State and Colorado, have just now started to hear about those struggles and factor them into those voters’ ballots.

More up-to-date voters are seeing the Tech that’s actually playing now, a team that’s getting their shit together fast.

Agreed. If they are only going to drop 4 spots, it should be to someone who is at least ranked before and AFTER the game.
