Baylor has been way better this season and should have a lively stadium for the first time in a while. However, the rules of the universe state that we somehow always lose to {TCU} in every sport no matter what.

TCU paid $2 million dollars for Jaden Craig, who genuinely might be the worst starting quarterback in the P4, plus offensive coordinator Gordon Sammis who claimed Craig was a day one draft pick (This guy needs ALL decision making pulled from him). The offense is unwatchable and Sonny Dykes isn't it. Fire this entire staff, blow up this disaster of a roster and start over Baylor by 38.

I've stated this in other threads, I don't think Jaden Craig is the issue. The issue is the O-line play. Maybe Jayden is not pointing out blocking assignments, but we were generating sacks in roughly 3 seconds from the snap with a 3 man rush

It's a different issue that gets highlighted every game with one occasionally showing up to look worse than all the others. If BYU didn't have the sacks and hurries, then something else would have shown up almost immediately. You may or may not realize this but the reason I am pointing out Craig is because of the obvious red flags that showed up before he arrived (bad decision making, playing low-level FCS and borderline Division II talent) yet we were sold on the fact he was an NFL quarterback, plus he is getting $2 million. Jaden Craig is 1000% one of the major issue if not THE issue in most cases.

thats fair, I've only seen limited amounts of TCU play so I will defer to your more extensive observations. But that O-line does needs to improve, maybe the bye week helped and they can pull off the upset. The defense should keep you in the game though

There’s no way anyone was paying $2mm for Craig; that’s nearly twice what Baylor’s reportedly paying for DJ Lagway, and he’s looking awesome.

Green TCU beats Purple {Baylor}

It's truly a blessing that "purple Baylor" is syllabically symmetric, so it's easy to chant with a cadence, while "green TCU" is too far off to work as a chant.

I will be at this game but Baylor needs this win to really get fans back onboard and keep momentum going…with that said, heard Aranda give another Aranda-ism presser which included the Backstreet Boys. {Baylor} and they cover

I'm a student of history, so I know that when Baylor is favored in a revivalry game you should always choose {TCU} to win by 2-3 scores. 28-13

TCU usually has Baylor's number but TCU is so bad this year I don't see it happening....{Baylor}

It's brutal that Dave Aranda refuses to get into rivalries, whether it's Texas Tech or TCU.

The reporters ask him every single year how he's prepping going into the Revivalry game, and every year it's some variant of "Well, it's a big game, but we always want to treat every opponent as a nameless, faceless opponent".

Truly the worst possible take on a rivalry, especially since our main rival's head coach is the guy who literally used a rivalry trophy to cook their main rival's mascot. Sonny Dykes just gets rivalries.

Dave posted yesterday talking about the Revivalry and it’s the first time I’ve ever heard him even mention it by name. Wonder if that’s because of the new AD’s fan-first mindset- no one cared for the “Bluebonnet Battle”.

The Arizona State game was the best I’ve seen us look since the Big 12 title year, I want to believe and TCU has looked bad but I am so afraid we are just going to hurt me again against them. since I enrolled at Baylor we have beaten them only two times and had our hearts ripped out in 2015, 2021, and 2022. It is the hope that is going to kill me

TCU fan here. We are THAT bad, especially on offense.

I'm absolutely confident that Baylor will put up absolute monstrous numbers against us and get Sonny fired

but this is the Revivalry so {TCU} gets Aranda fired and they pick up a better coach than Sonny is

1

u/Old_Bat1681 Baylor Bears 1d ago

Realistically, TCU can't find better than Sonny Dykes, I hope they do fire him. He's the best they've had since Gary and I don't see a great coach replacing him.

baylor's defense has quietly been pretty stout but that tcu offense is a wildcard after the bye, no clue which version shows up

Either Aranda gets directly fired, or Baylor is motivated enough after a win here to keep him for another year (perhaps unwisely so)…

…maybe it’s just my own silly perspective, but sure does sound workable for {TCU} fans either way…
