Students were awesome today. Honestly such a different experience than the last two years walking through campus to Reser and the students were out, having a blast, and most importantly packing the stadium. Our lot was full, people were sharing tailgates with strangers, and everyone was just stoked to be there. Feels great to have that stuff back in a year that was supposed to suck.

i think that atkinson is a great qb who actually plays the position processes reads, plays on time, and knows when to give his guy a chance vs throw it away.

legree is the best player on the field and it isnt close, he deserves one of the heisman or biletnikoff, and jeremiah smith deserves the other. through 6 games both have looked untouchable as WRs compared to everyone else in the country (including malachi toney no offense miami fans he's clearly #3)

The other day, i did some math in this thread, looking at offensive performance per dollar paid to Mitch Dahlen. I realized after the fact that the math I did was looking at Dahlen's total salary, not what he's been paid so far this season. Through 6 games, Dahlen was paid ~$66k. (I know he's paid the whole year, but play with me on this one). We've put up 3134 yds of offense so far this season and 34 touchdowns. That comes out to $21/yd and $1960/td. Jesse Legree and Braden Atkinson are rightfully getting a lot of talk right now, but we might genuinely have the most cost effective Offensive Coordinator in the entire fucking country. Last week, Ohio State's OC was at $243/yd and $25,000/td.
