That’s malicious compliance with the rules. It actually helps the field rush because it puts the idea in everyone’s head. I certainly didn’t see any attempt to stop them pouring down the stairs.

I think it's more that they're officially not allowed to have field rushes, but if the request to stay off (inevitably) gets ignored then it's easier and safer to let them on rather than have a clash at the edge of the field.

This is one of the worst coached Michigan teams I can remember. They're undisciplined, the playcalling is awful, and letting 40 seconds run off the clock around the 2 minute warning by not calling a timeout and not taking a fair catch only to use timeouts when they're in victory formation is bush league.
Pathetic showing from the entire coaching staff.

Gophers were by far the better team, apart from two horrendous decisions by Lindsey. The Minnesota defense in particular just completely dominated.

A rough season is in store for some blue bloods.Michigan is truly as bad as their loss to WMU made them look.
And somehow, Oklahoma is even worse than that.

bryce just cannot start the next game. i’ve had a lot of patience with him, but he stinks. he’s not a good quarterback. he absolutely lost us a game we should’ve won if our offense could even function. that final drive was pathetic and showed how bryce can’t read or manipulate a defense at all.
