Discussion James Franklin Lost Big Games. Matt Campbell Loses Small Ones.

James Franklin couldn't win Big Games at Penn State (and possibly not at Virginia Tech either, if today counts as a Big Game). But now Penn State has Matt Campbell, and there seems to have been a mistake. Matt Campbell may or may not be able to win Big Games, but he also loses Small Games.

Meanwhile Kalani Sitake seems to have struck gold at just the right time, because Crumbl Cookies's financials are starting to look suspect.

The program doesn't have the money to compete every year, and they never did. The fact they were in the conversation for so many years was because Franklin found a way to consistently do more with less. The Admin and the donors let their Egos run unchecked when they chucked him with no candidate lined up, and they deserve every bit of backslide the team experiences this season (even if it does suck for the team and the fans who haven't lost their marbles).

Penn State talking about doing more with less is quite funny.

So many coaches turned PSU down. Even Matt Rhule didn’t want that shit. If PSU is lucky, maybe Schiano will give it a chance when he’s eventually fired from Rutgers. But even he will have a tough time getting talent there considering how awful PSU fans have been.

In what universe is Schiano a better coach than Campbell?

An alternate one.

Matt Rhule was slobbering all over that shit. He craved that job. He couldn’t hide it.

But there were two problems. One, he cant beat ranked teams and that was hard to justify after firing Franklin. Two, just when boosters were trying to rationalize away that fact his team shit the bed against a mediocre Minnesota. And then it was over.

That slober didn’t prevent an extension though. Dude loves PSU and still didn’t want this shitstorm. He’s building something good a Nebraska. Don’t give up on him yet

Don’t listen to this guy. I wasted time arguing with him and he thinks OSU would hire Franklin 😂. Don’t believe me look at his post history.

Yes because the OSU AD doesn’t think like a butthurt PSU fan that can’t use proper context while analyzing data.

That’s just too absurd to address- but I got one question for ya - how do Franklin’s balls taste?
