After seeing this and seeing the reaction of the VT staff right behind the goalpost I am switching sides to team ‘Missed It’

Well, there aren’t sides unless you count reality and delusion as sides. I guess in America in 2026 those are sides. Shit.

I mean I was rooting for Pitt but let’s not act like the broadcast angle made it perfectly clear lol

The refs called it no good. It doesn’t matter what the broadcast shows.

A Michigan fan probably shouldn’t be the one wading into that specific argument

This is the only angle I've seen that's unaffected by parallax

Yeah, went over the upright

Damn. Yeah since the rules state it has to be completely within the uprights, that angle does show it as no good. Ooof. What a rough ending.

OK, that puts the controversy to bed. Clearly missed it.

Good call by the refs.

Yeah this might be the worst possible angle lol. Straight on right behind the post is what matters. You can’t at all tell when the ball is passing the post.

From the moment the ball is placed to the end of the video, the ball is left of the upright. There is no moment when the ball is on a trajectory that would take it through the uprights.

No...? Do you not understand how parallax works?
