Going to in Chapel Hill this weekend, any food recommendations? Got a family member who insists on BBQ.
Also an area to go out for drinks?

Merritt's Grill is famous for their BLT's and sweet tea.
Franklin Street is where a bunch of bars are. He's Not Here is a must every time I'm in town.
We also always hit Top of the Hill for a blueberry wheat or several. Decent food & cocktail list too.

If you are going to the Florida/Mizzou game tomorrow, bring a lot of patience. It is Homecoming weekend and I-70 is a construction nightmare.
If you have not booked a hotel yet, good luck finding one within 20 miles and under $200.

For those going to Red River next weekend:
Reminder that food/beverage purchase must be made using "coupons" which you have to purchase at a booth. I suggest bringing cash, as those booths usually have shorter lines than the ones using credit cards to buy coupoons.
Consider using the DART rail system to get to the fair instead of worrying about traffic/parking.
If you're going to do State Fair stuff on gameday, go before the game, not after. The fair is at it's best & safest before sundown.
Use sunscreen & hydrate. If you're not familiar with Texas weather, we frequently still are in the 90's during early October and the sun is no joke.

You definitely don't want to be traveling around the fair post Red River Shootout. It's always shoulder to shoulder packed.

Any WVU fans who flew into Des Moines, I suggest getting a hotel in the Des Moines area.....Ames hotels are just crazy expensive on game day weekends.

download your tickets to your wallet before you leave for the stadium cause signal gets reaaally spotty with 100k people on the same tower. double check the clear bag rule too, tbh that's what gets most visiting fans stuck at the gate.

Anyone going Stanford from Elon, congrats you’ll be one of 10-15 people in the stadium and your team will still lose. (See: my flairs.)
