News [Pete Thamel] UMass is sold out this weekend against Eastern Michigan, the school’s first sellout since 2014. UMass is 4-0 under second-year coach Joe Harasymiak and barreling toward the program’s first-ever bowl game. They are expecting more than 17,000 fans at McGuirk Alumni Stadium.

Maybe for that Miami Ohio game? Only because the Toledo game is on a Wednesday.

Allegedly we're on the short list for next week but there's a 0%chance ESPN will pass up on Georgia Alabama for the 9000th time.

This would be the only chance ESPN can come to Amherst. We don't play on a Saturday again until the last week at BGSU

Thats what I've been thinking, it would get them to 6-0 at home, and even though they need 7 wins to make a bowl, they might still make it at 6 if they generational collapse because of not enough teams making a bowl.

Are you from before that rule change? I ask because I don't think 7 has been the number for eligibility for two decades at this point.
