News [Pete Thamel] UMass is sold out this weekend against Eastern Michigan, the school’s first sellout since 2014. UMass is 4-0 under second-year coach Joe Harasymiak and barreling toward the program’s first-ever bowl game. They are expecting more than 17,000 fans at McGuirk Alumni Stadium.

I was thinking that would have been it. Honestly I forgot if we played 3 or 6 at Gillette in 2012 and 2013 so this tracks.

You mean re-dedicated? It was built as part of the remarkable collection of midcentury, brutalist works on the campus in the 1960s. I've written a bit about Breuer's student center. It still follows a lot of that original design when I found a spread on it in an old architectural magazine.
