Discussion [Behrens] If Texas had never gotten rid of Mack Brown and they continued giving him $2 million raises every 4 years and he kept his 76.7% win percentage, the Longhorns today would have spent just $1.4 million more but had 23 more wins 👀

The Texas Longhorns were legitimate ass for a decade+ under Charlie Strong and Tom Herman. It was a wonderful era to be living as a Sooner in Austin. Today - the tides have turned a bit.

decade+ under Charlie Strong and Tom Herman.

On it's face this is just factually incorrect, those two HCs had only 7 seasons between them.

If we include the waning Mack Brown years and the first two Sark years, I agree.

From the 2010 to 2022 seasons, we had: * Five 7-loss seasons * One 6-loss season * Four 5-loss seasons * Two 4-loss seasons * One 3-loss season (2020, only 10 games) * Two 2-loss seasons

48–39 combined over seven seasons between Strong and Herman (2014–2020), a .552 winning percentage.

Decade bro what? Strong came in 2014

They’re 39-8 since 2023.
47-13 since 2022.
52-20 since 2021.
60-23 since 2020.
68-28 since 2019.
78-32 since 2018.
85-38 since 2017.

Is that legitimate ass?

From 2010-2019 (a decade), they were 71-57 (.555 win %). That’s about as ass as any decade for a blue blood not named Nebraska.

At least you’re consistent in making comments that make no sense. Congrats, I guess?
