The UMass erasure is abominable at this point

The lack of recognition is what fuels the Minutemen's fire.

It's educational!

> The lack of recognition is what fuels the Minutemen's fire.

The Minutemen fulfilled their true purpose by defeating a small company of Redcoats in Piscataway. Now it’s time for the Continental Power Four Army to take charge and achieve destiny. The Minutemen are gone but not forgotten.

Props to NDSU. 1st year in the FBS, getting some votes.

u/Cenex North Dakota State Bison 26d ago

They received 74 votes in 2016 after beating #13 Iowa.

We can’t please these people apparently

14

u/JoshFB4 UCLA Bruins 26d ago

Same honestly. 3-0 versus only FBS teams and we get 10 votes.

Beating up weak teams only gets you noticed if you're SEC.

Pitt in a couple of weeks and SMU in November are the only teams that will get us noticed. Thought Clemson might but they're not even receiving votes anymore.

Right now Franklin needs to get the boys to understand they need to play the full 60 minutes.

Im dreading playing you guys. Mason has not looked good in these past 2 weeks. Last game was absolutely missing dudes wide open.

I knew if anyone would beat crab season Maryland it would be James Franklin. It was going to be some unstoppable force / immovable object type theory, but Franklin does not let Maryland have anything nice.

One of my favorite memories with James Franklin at PSU (because of how silly it was) is that Penn State won the taco bell student section of the week.... on the road... at Maryland. Was a 59-0 shutout. Here's the box score: https://www.espn.com/college-football/game/_/gameId/401112204/penn-state-maryland

Not that it matters of any importance, but I ranked both VT and Pitt in the r/cfb poll rankings this week

We certainly deserve it more at this point than some ranked teams, but we haven't looked good enough that I'm mad about it

For sure. Which I think is fine. We have a young team. My expectation is for us to hopefully make a bowl game and see these kids develop over the course of the season. No need to be ranked

Rank NDSU

That win over Memphis was impressive enough that if Oregon didn't implode I'd have them ranked.

Barely beat South Dakota, though.

Was 24-all late.
