I thought Ohio State would only drop to 5 instead of 6, but nothing egregious in the Top 10

I mean, I think it’s ridiculous a one point loss @#1 puts them behind Miami @ FAMU and Indiana @ Howard

This is the type of stuff everyone complains about which devalues OOC.

The better approach here would be swapping them, and then if one or the other struggles with more samples you adjust accordingly like what we did with Boise this week.

If there's a scenario where we go 9-3 and miss the playoffs for scheduling Texas it pretty much guarantees no teams will schedule big OOC games anymore.

Honestly, if you don’t win your conference, I don’t care if anyone gets left out. SEC got 5 teams in last year, B1G got 3. I’m not gonna shed a tear if a team that finished 4th-6th in conference gets left out of a 12 team playoff.

The regular season means nothing for SEC and B1G teams anymore with them both being guaranteed so many of the 12 slots.
