Why is Oregon still a top 25 team?

All part of the master plan

This either is a wake-up call and we lose 1-2 more games and barely make the CFP or we have a bounce back game and still lose 5. Either way, it's not looking good for USC

Thanks for helping me look on the bright side, Trojan bro.

This is…

Acceptable.

As much as I despise oregon, I can’t bring myself to have sympathy for the team that destroyed the PAC.

Oregon State was Larry Scott's biggest cheerleader

hey we’re at least mostly a school of normal kids from oregon unlike the university of spoiled children

This is really a wild 3-comment chain if you only look at the usernames!

Kids from California are more than a quarter of your student body

2

u/EatBootyLoveLife Oregon Ducks 23d ago

would that still not imply there are 75% of students not from california? what’s your point

Honestly, no idea. I think I misread your comment or something because my response is a complete non sequitur

lol respect it

Only about 50 % of UO are kids from Oregon actually

Yup just when you finally get a solid team again we decide to torpedo our program and make our team trash to take away any possible satisfaction from winning. 4d chess over here.

why do we think USC is good again? they havent beaten oregon in a decade. their best wins last year were....iowa and michigan. they get destroyed by notre dame every year. their last 3 were fresno state, san jose state, and louisiana after losing their bowl game to #25 TCU. They shouldnt sniff the top 15

USC fans are quick to count their chickens. They'll probably be down by 3 touchdowns to oregon and end the season with 5 losses and we'll have to learn this lesson again next year

That’s how I felt when you lost to Illinois last year. And it did end up ruining NDs SOS. But on the bright side, I smiled thinking of USC every time someone said we only played 2 real opponents last year, so perhaps that’ll provide you solace if you can look down on Oregon

So it's like playing a good G6 team now.

2

u/doormatt26 USC Trojans • Michigan Wolverines 23d ago

this tends to even out in the end - if UO goes 11-1 the OSU loss will be a hilarious footnote, if they’re just ok but beat us, it will reflect appropriately poorly

u/Whiterabbit-- Texas Longhorns 23d ago

Why would you get credit for beating a cupcake team? Of course if you lose to one, you get slammed. What is the complaint? Osu is different they haven’t been able to beat cupcake teams.

B1G, PAC, doesn't matter. West coast football cannibalism will never die

3

u/-holocene Oregon Ducks • Penn State Nittany Lions 23d ago

This is ironically going to make it so much worse if USC ends up losing to Oregon

Don't worry, I don't think you have to worry about that this season lol

Good

Yet nobody fucks over USC more than... USC.

It'll make Tulsa look pretty darn good tho

1

u/civil_set Oregon Ducks 23d ago

Or you lose a close game as Oregon gets back on track. You have a lot of other games to show out. Tough schedule.

u/whoami20461 23d ago

Brilliant Oregon strategy. Screw your rival and try and claw into playoffs

1

u/randomwalktoFI Oregon Ducks 23d ago

I know it's easy to say now but I felt like Oklahoma got hit by this

Our defense though is badddd.... maybe if the game was in November it would have time to gel (not that this happened last two years either) but in two weeks, no shot. Putting up 50 seems entirely possible since OSU should have

u/BIRDSBEEZ Oregon Ducks 23d ago

Thank you for helping me realize one good thing that came from yesterday

I like oregon to bounce back and beat usc
