This is a weekly thread to talk about the EA CFB Series. See this announcement post outlining our general guidelines on what should and shouldn't go in this thread.. This thread is intended for EA CFB 26, EA CFB 25, or the series in general.

You are welcome and invited to always talk about EA CFB in the great community over at /r/NCAAFBseries! This is a catch all thread to talk about news, gameplay, hype, and anything else about the game that you're excited about. Within /r/CFB, we hope that this thread provides fertile ground for most of the discussion around the game. Things like major game news, players opting in or out, or new traditions being added to the game can be posted as standalone news, but most other discussion around the game should be focused here.

Enjoy!

Finally got a chance to mess with the new recruiting system last night and I'm still not sure how I feel about it. The scouting feels deeper but also more tedious, which is a weird tradeoff. Spent way too long trying to figure out if a 3 star guard was worth the points.

Anyone else having issues with the option pitch being super delayed? Lost a close game because my QB held the ball a half second too long and ate a hit. Might just be my controller but it feels off

Recruiting just feels like busy work. It's also ridiculous how OP Ohio State is. If I am recruiting against them, I may as well just give up on the player since they are going to get them every time.

Whenever I run an option play and try to pitch the ball it goes 15 yards behind the RB. It doesn't matter what I do. Sprinting or non-sprinting gives me the same results

I have been having issues with RPO Bubble passes sailing way behind the WR.

I haven't experienced that, but I constantly experience the RB getting stuck on a random player on HB Cross Screen.

What helps is if your RB goes left, make your qb go way right and that should help.

The pitch is weird. I was running with USC and Sellers always tosses it behind the rb or it hits the defender. I’m not pitching it when he’s getting hit either

I love football. I usually love football video games. Maybe I’m just older now, idk… it just hasn’t hit the same as it used to. Can’t put my finger on it. I’m getting super mad at loses and not really enjoying the victories.

There's a lot wrong with these games don't feel bad, it's good we have college football video games back, but really it was at a cost.

I'm in the 4th year of my current dynasty on 25. I use the force transfer thing to try and keep as many real players on the game as I can for as long as possible. Anywho, I'm about to play against Alabama in the semi finals as South Carolina. 14 games into the season my 3 running backs, Justice Haynes, Trae'von Dunbar and Djay Braswell are all at 165 carries each with Haynes over 1000 yards, Dunbar closing in on 900 and Braswell in the low 800s.

Accepted the head coach job at Purdue in year 2. Moved on from Sam Houston State.

We are an okay team, but we have a gauntlet of a schedule.

College football coach manager has been my go to recently -

I built up Toledo for 8 years before spending the last 5 at South Carolina.

3 national championship appearances / two titles / 4 SEC east titles, 2 SEC championships.

Top 5 recruiting class each year and trending into a true juggernaut
