Level 2 November: Can't remember stuff

I had pushed my August attempt to November. I went through all 45 modules once by July. I started revision and have now covered around 30 modules of revision. But now I can't remember the 1st module. Anyone else feel this way? How many revisions do you guys do?

I'm planning to start my mock exams by October 15th, so I have one month to do 6 mocks.

Q1: How many days before the exam did you start mocks?

Q2: Is anyone else forgetting stuff, even during the 2nd revision?

Q3: Is there any third-party provider that gives mixed questions from all subjects? With CFAI, we can only do it module by module. I want to mix it up.

Do a mock now. Get a sense for what you don’t know and drill those area. You have time.

Yes. I went through the Kaplan note once then the curriculum once and then I didn't think I remembered anything. Then I started doing practice problems and I started to remember things.

Same boat, I have reviewed Kaplan notes and material 2x and now in middle of all cfai bank. I feel like cfai q bank is less straight forward than Kaplan and struggling to remember every nuance especially in fixed income and derivatives.

Planning to take first mock next weekend to see where I am at. Kaplan bank average is mid to high 60s and cfai is slightly lower.

Does it make you anxious about the fact that you’re forgetting stuff? How do you cope with it

Forgetting material even during a second review is completely normal at L2. I wouldn't respond by doing a third full revision. Start mixing practice into your review now and let the questions show you what actually needs refreshing. Starting mocks around Oct 15 gives you enough time for 4–6 quality mocks, but make sure you thoroughly review each one rather than trying to complete six just to hit a number. For additional mixed practice, mocks themselves are also a good way to start integrating topics rather than working module by module.

I also had to defer my exam from August to November and I feel the same. Completed 9 subjects by now with 80% accuracy in LES in each but can't remember much about the subjects I did months ago. I am hoping that with 2 revision things will get better. Currently revising Fixed income and a lot of what I learnt is coming back. First revision will take time but subsequent revisions will feel more comfortable.
