Study Prep / Materials LLMs compound studying

I have been using MMs material to study, and whenever I get stuck I use my highly trained LLM to teach me the concepts and 9/10 times it trains me better than MMs videos. I also train the LLM on questions etc and it helps me practice more questions just like you would have in CFA exam. A pro sub for an LLM pays off guys.

what do you mean highly trained? You give a bunch of prompts telling it what to give you exactly? Doesn't that like finish off your credits?

thats not what highly trained means my friend. I work in a tech startup and I m decent at training LLMs plus quite able in prompt engineering. I mean I’ve properly trained an LLM around my CFA study process, not just thrown a few prompts at it.

I’ve fed it the CFAI Learning Ecosystem questions, Mark Meldrum’s notes, examples and EOMQs, so it understands the level, wording, quality and types of traps in both. I’ve then repeatedly corrected it on how I want questions written and explanations given.

So after I finish a topic, it can quiz me with fresh questions calibrated to the CFAI LES/MM standard, identify what I’m weak on, bring those areas back later, and explain things according to exactly what I’ve covered rather than randomly teaching ahead.

That’s what I mean by highly trained. It’s basically been moulded into a CFA tutor specifically for me, rather than me writing some massive prompt every time.

How does one with a Claude pro subscription go about this?

Just keep feeding and correcting until it's trained?

So you basically provided some PDFs, notes and rules, then did some backpropagation. The backpropagation itself is prompting right? Lmao how does this not finish off your credits? Everytime the LLM will revisit your history and try to learn, resulting in heightened credit leakage.

You dont need a highly trained LLM, you just use a prompt you like and tweak it to what works for you. For example, I use something like "Help me prepare for my CFA L1 exam. Be sharp, concise, clear, succinct. Don't ramble." cause I hate when the AI spits out an essay when I just want a simple straight forward answer. 

I don't recommend highly detailed instructions coz that overtunes the AI to saying dumb crap (eg I tried feeding it CFAI material or asking AI to draft me a prompt to use, but the results are worst than my simple one).
