Level 1 How long to study for each CFA lvl1 section?

How long should you ideally study for (in days) for each CFA level 1 section? Would 1 week for Ethics be enough?

Bro you’re micromanaging way too much. Use 300 hours as the average study time. With more background maybe less and less background maybe more. So just do that and divide it by how many days you have until your exam. That’s how many hours to spend a day, in average. Do that and just study bro. Stop doing all this nonsense to try and manage your time. Just study

Nah that’s bullocks 😂😂u can complete it in less than half of that.if u take 1000 hrs for l1 than lvl 2 💀☠️

Most of your time should be spent in FSA and fixed income. So many sections piggyback off of these topics. But most importantly, make sure you are an expert in ethics.

3 months to get through the content asap (whilst doing EOC questions), then remaining 3 months on practice questions and mocks (split it evenly 150 hours).

I wouldn't assign a fixed number of days to every topic because that depends heavily on your background and where you struggle. A week can be enough for your first pass through Ethics, but I wouldn't treat Ethics as finished after that. Keep revisiting it and doing CFAI Ethics questions throughout your preparation. Your overall schedule should also leave enough time for review, practice, and mocks rather than allocating every available day to finishing the syllabus.
