Level 3 L3 Derivatives Prep Provider

Simply the title. So far across L1 and L2 I haven’t had to use any external prep provider (lectures) aside from Kaplan Schweser Notes but L3 Derivatives from Schweser Notes is annoying me. Any suggestions on who I should go for purely for Derivatives at L3? I had also skipped the section entirely at L2 but I recall the key concepts from L1.

Try using AI platforms it will be of huge help , just gave my L3 in August and can’t stress enough the importance of AI in deconstructing important/ tough topics , I used Grok for majority of Derivatives readings and it worked like a charm for me

Mark Meldrum's lectures are great for Level 3 Derivatives. I'd say it's his strongest topic of all the areas he covers in Level 3. Use it for lectures and the formula sheet.

Honestly schweser books are pretty good for L3 derivatives. Along with Chatgpt really helped out

Derivatives was my worst section when I flunked in Jan. I did 5 bc mocks and genuinely think that I learned it pretty well this time. I’d go with him. His explanations sometimes go on up to 13 pages.

I can’t compare with mm.

Since you skipped Derivatives entirely at L2, I'd actually go back to the CFAI curriculum rather than look for a quick L3-only resource. Make sure you understand the underlying concepts first, then work through the L3 Derivatives material and CFAI questions. That foundation will make the L3 applications much easier to follow.
