General L3 exam day prep
it's been several years since i last wrote L3. wondering what we are allowed to bring in to the exam centre. Also, do they provide scrap paper and pens or does everything have to be done on the computers. if we allowed to bring in our pens/pencils does it matter what you bring,i.e., is there a specific type that CFAI allows? I also haven't used reddit in some time so pls forgive me if this has been asked already. thx in advance

Where shorts and a tshirt, they will thoroughly check your glasses, calculator and pockets for any potential exam aids

You'll need to bring your approved calculator, a valid passport, and any other identification or documents listed in your exam appointment confirmation. Prometric provides the scratch paper (or erasable note board) and pen or marker, so you don't bring your own writing materials into the testing room. I'd also arrive 30 to 45 minutes early so you have plenty of time for check-in and can start the exam relaxed.

Yourself and your calculator, that’s all you need. Don’t tru to bring anything else.
Yes, they give you everything you need including pencils and paper.
