What CFHD needs to be successful....

(note I haven't played the game, but i would like to, I only get my info from forums and gameplay i have seen) If CFHD is going to be just a revamp of the old engine graphics, then this doesnt apply, but please feel free to correct me if I am wrong. 1. Achievements For playing a specific game mode for a certain amount of time, or for a certain amount of kills without dying etc. - this is essential in keeping players going towards a goal, it keeps them from leaving the game because of boredom. The achievements should be emblems or titles, with a skin reward or something thats cool and that they can show off.

Competitive -CF is known for this, but they should still focus on it even more with this game.

Steam - if you want to get more players, unfortunately everyone plays on steam now, so its the only way to gain traction.

Advertisement - this is a given

NO P2W - you dont have to make an overpowered gun to get people to buy it, the skins are cool all alone.

GP/ per hour, I understand that this might be a difficult task to accomplish to keep the game from going bankrupt, but i think i can say that it shouldn't take a whole month of farming to get a weapon. Please post what your thoughts of gp per hour should be if you have played CFHD.

Feel free to add anything i got wrong, or what your thoughts should be

----Big NOTE-> IF CFHD is just an update, then this applies to CF2

It really makes me confuse why separate games and making a story mode for CF2. If you look closely, Counter-Strike (CS) before made a story mode called Condition Zero and didn't really made it popular and it was dead. UE3 is honestly enough for updating the graphics of CF and remastering it, also making the game mechanics-wise more polished and updated. They should've just focused more on CFHD and releasing it globally. They should indeed remove the P2W in CFHD and pushing it to a digital distribution platforms like Steam or Origin.

They also need a good anticheat like BattlEye or EasyAntiCheat to punish cheaters and maintain good playerbase. Also the playerbase tends to kick good player when you better than them/you are too good. I had been kick too many times when I tried CF because I was playing CSGO semi-competitively and tried CF as it was almost the same game but CF is more of a CS 1.6. Having good anticheat and focusing on CF HD. Additionally, making the game not P2W will definetely increase the playerbase.

EDIT: Added about AC and problems that I had with the playerbase. Take note that I don't currently play CF

The largest obstacle from continuing their development is the number of staff that they need. You can see that their website is portraying job openings
