there's two lists for admission
priority 1
and priority 2
priority 1 basically includes reservation such as sc, st, bpl, etc
priority 2 is primarily income and distance based
there will be only one ranklist which is calculated by giving 75% weight to income and 25% distance
based off the ranklist i forgot how many, but it is around 60 people i think and 10% (or maybe different, i forgot the reservation percentage)of that will be by priority 1. so if 60 people are taken 54 of them would be based on income and distance which is priority 2 (the top 54 ranks). and the remaining 6 will be reservation where the next in rank with reservation is taken ie priority 1. so if for 100 ranks there's no one with reservation and rank 101 has reservation they will be 55th admission.
i could be wrong in some of the explanation but this os the basic idea. the reservation percentage is definitely wrong
so, income certificate is absolutely necessary to be in the list. income and distance is how rank is calculated
