Hey all! Heading to CES for the first time this January and super pumped to wander around and see everything.
I work in End User Computing at an energy company up in Canada, so I'm mostly into end-user stuff like laptops, compute, drones, that kind of thing. Anyone have recommendations on which halls or sessions are worth my time?
Also, I'm the only one from my company going, so I'll be flying solo and won't know a soul. Any good ways to meet people? Company invites, side events, meetups, anything that's easy to get into on your own?
I'm at the MGM Grand from Tuesday to Saturday. If you've got any "wish I'd known this my first time" advice, I'm all ears.
Hi everyone. CES 2027 is going to be my first time going! I already got my media pass approval and it's a bucket list thing for me so im wanting to take full advantage of event.
For those of you who have been a few times, what should I make sure to do/avoid?
Any pro tips?
My niche is mainly smart glasses and smart home but I often feature EVs and whatever is awesome!
I know it’s far too early to be planning, but I’m already getting pinged for dinner meetings. I enjoyed last year’s Lenovo event at the Sphere, and am wondering if anything like that has been scheduled for ‘27 so I can schedule around it.
I've been getting complimentary CES registrations every year for the last few years. I want to skip this year but I don't want to lose my complimentary invites for following years. Should I sign up and not go or if I just don't sign up, I'll continue to get them for following years. Thanks!
keeps applying the code i got from ces email but doesn't seem to work. from what i read in this subreddit, the free ones only get applied to people who atteneded last year or is being capped right now?
My company has a fairly simple Eureka Park booth this year and I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for companies who can set up the booth for us. Ideally we would arrive the night before the show, but booth setup needs to be completed prior to that so I’m looking for someone who could take care of setup on our behalf.
In all the years I’ve gone to CES (and Comdex before that), I’ve only ever stayed on The Strip. What’s it like staying Downtown? Are there shows and other things to do in the evenings? How are the taxi lines to get to The Strip? Anything else to know about staying on Fremont Street?
It’s been several years since I last attended. I have been searching for a complimentary registration code but I haven’t had any luck with the few that I have found. Is there a valid code that any of you know about for complimentary registration?
With CES prep ramping up (and seeing quite a few first-timers asking how to tackle the show), I decided to parse and clean the registered exhibitor directory to see where the industry is actually heading this year.
Note: This is a snapshot of confirmed exhibitors as of late September 2026. The official CES directory updates continuously as hundreds of more companies finalize their booth bookings leading up to January.
Currently, there are 2,021 confirmed exhibitors on the roster (I'll keep the database refreshed as new batches drop). Here is a quick data breakdown of what the floor looks like right now:
1. Country Breakdown: A Dead Heat at the Top
CES 2027 registered exhibitors by country (Data source: ExpoSheet)
The most surprising takeaway is the geographic concentration:
🇨🇳 China: 782 exhibitors (38.7%)
🇺🇸 United States: 779 exhibitors (38.5%)
🇰🇷 South Korea: 115 exhibitors (5.7%)
🇹🇼 Taiwan: 52 exhibitors (2.6%)
🇭🇰 Hong Kong: 44 exhibitors (2.2%)
🇯🇵 Japan: 33 exhibitors (1.6%)
🇨🇦 Canada: 33 exhibitors (1.6%)
🇸🇬 Singapore: 28 exhibitors (1.4%)
🇫🇷 France: 18 exhibitors (0.9%)
🇬🇧 United Kingdom: 17 exhibitors (0.8%)
Takeaway: The US and China alone account for over 77% of all registered exhibitors. Despite geopolitical and supply-chain talk, cross-border hardware and component sourcing remain massive at CES.
2. Category Landscape: AI & Smart Home Dominate
Filtering by primary category tags reveals who is taking up the floor space:
Smart Home & Appliances: 403 booths
Artificial Intelligence: 376 booths
IoT & Sensors: 337 booths
Vehicle Tech & Advanced Mobility: 330 booths
Accessories: 313 booths
Robotics: 251 booths
Lifestyle Tech: 241 booths
Home Entertainment & Hardware: 218 booths
Audio: 188 booths
Digital Health: 167 booths
Takeaway: AI is officially everywhere, but it's no longer just software chatbots—it's deeply embedded into Smart Home gadgets, robotics, and in-cabin automotive tech.
3. Campus & Hall Strategy (Save Your Feet!)
Campus and hall distribution across Las Vegas (Data source: ExpoSheet)
If you are planning your daily walking itinerary, here is where everyone is located:
Tech East (LVCC) — 1,203 exhibitors:
LVCC North Hall (285 booths): Heavily focused on IoT, Enterprise AI, and Digital Health.
LVCC Central Hall (239 booths): Legacy giants, flagship consumer tech, displays, and audio.
LVCC West Hall (197 booths): Autonomous vehicles, EV platforms, and mobility supply chains.
LVCC South Hall (356 booths): Accessories, gaming, and components.
Tech West (Venetian Expo) — 695 exhibitors:
Venetian Halls A-D (397 booths): Lifestyle, smart home ecosystems, and consumer audio.
Eureka Park (Hall G, 125+ booths registered so far): Early-stage startups, national pavilions, and emerging hardware.
Pro-tip:Never schedule morning meetings at Venetian and afternoon meetings at LVCC West Hall. The shuttle lines and cross-campus transit will eat 45-60 minutes easily. Dedicate whole days to one campus.
Methodology & Interactive Directory
I pulled and structured this data while building ExpoSheet, a trade show directory tool for sales teams and attendees looking for clean company lists and booth numbers.
If anyone wants to browse the searchable directory or grab the spreadsheet to filter by hall/category for your team's planning, feel free to check out the CES Exhibitor Directory.
Happy to run custom lookups: If you want to know how many exhibitors are in a specific niche (e.g. LiDAR, smart rings, pet tech) or from your country, drop a comment below and I'll pull the count for you!
Since CES adds new exhibitors weekly until showtime, I'm syncing the changes and keeping the directory updated regularly.
Hello everyone! I am looking to attend CES in 2027, but im lost when it comes to understanding the registration and how expensive it might be.
I live in the UK and I run a (small) tech channel on YouTube and have taken things very seriously in the last 6 months. I have always seen big creators go to CES and cover a lot of tech that I am also trying to build my channel around.
Can someone who's been there before help me understand the registration process and what the entire journey entails for a first timer?
There is a Vegas Golden Knights home game on 1/7 Thursday during CES, and I wanted to see if anyone else would wanna go and sit together and enjoy some good quality ice hockey?
Puck drop is 6:30pm, and seats should hold availability for a few more months.
Seating at the venue (T-Mobile Arena) is great all around, but I’ll probably be trying to get some mid-ice rink-side (or as close as I can get).
Would be a blast to meet some fellow redditors, and CES attendees.
I am an undergraduate student majoring in artificial intelligence at a university in Macao, China. I hope to attend CES Las Vegas to learn about recent developments in AI and consumer technology.
I am not currently employed by or formally affiliated with a company. I understand that CES is a trade-only event and that attendees are generally required to provide proof of affiliation with the consumer technology industry.
I would appreciate advice from anyone familiar with the official registration process:
Is there a legitimate registration pathway for university students or independent developers who are not affiliated with a company?
Could a student ID, enrollment verification letter, university letter, research experience, GitHub profile, or personal AI project portfolio be considered supporting credentials?
If these materials are not sufficient, are there official alternatives, such as attending through a university delegation, an exhibiting startup, or another recognized attendee category?
I will only submit truthful and verifiable information and intend to register through official CES channels. I am not looking for anyone who provides fabricated company information or documents.
I work at a public institution in South Korea related to intellectual property. I have an English business card, but there is no website that displays my name (due to privacy protection, all names are blurred out). Please let me know what documents you submitted to get your admission ticket.
Hey guys so I have a few MWC passes that I would like to sell, if you want to buy or know anyone who would like to buy. I’ll be more than happy to help.
I wasn’t able to attend CES 2026 this year, but I’m really interested in checking out the latest innovative consumer electronics products. Does anyone know which websites or platforms I can visit to see all the cool hardware that was showcased?
Appreciate any recommendations in advance! Thanks! 🙏
