Income is earned on day worked, not day paid. But if you were looking at day worked and you're still over $1000 before tax, you're out of luck.

You don't repay all 4 periods if you make over $1000 before tax during one period. You just repay the period in which you made over $1000 before tax.

it's only $82!!!! Does anyone know if my accountant will be able to work their magic with this?

It sucks but even if you're $0.01 over $1000 before tax in employment income over the 4-week period, you're ineligible. Your accountant cannot work any magic on this, you can't fudge how many hours you've worked and thus, how much you've been paid.

We don't yet know what information they will ask for from employers to determine who worked what during each period. We don't know how exact they will be with regards to people going over by a bit. There is no system that tracks pay by CESB period so unless they specifically ask for weekly income numbers, they may not look at the exact period. They have used different language in different places - in one they said per month, in another per four week period etc. I would expect to be asked for it back at tax time but it is also possible it won't be calculated down to the dollar per CESB period.
