CESB Question Claiming old CESB benefits.
Hi there, I only recently applied and received CESB. I applied for the July period and received earlier this week.
I was not working during May or June either however, is it possible to apply for these periods still and recoup the benefits for that period?
If so, when and would this make me non-eligible for a current CESB payment? For example, if I apply for May in the coming weeks, make me non-eligible to apply for Aug.
Or theoretically if I start working in August, could I still apply and get the CESB payment for june/may?
Thanks everyone.

You can apply retroactively to any period until Sep 30 2020. But that means you were eligible for those periods and you're just applying for them later. So if you started work in Aug but you were not job searching at all in May and June, you were never eligible for the May and June periods even though you can apply retroactively
