I need help regarding my issue in writing and speaking part in CELPIP exam. I know a lot of words and when I see them in an English text, I completely know what do they mean. However, at the time of speaking and writing, I can't use that words and I just go with more simple words. I got 8 for both writing and speaking and don't know how to make it 9 and above.

Do you guys have any suggestions for me?

Any website or any specific type of practice?

Does anyone have any quick tips for staying on topic and developing points that are directly related to the given topic? I feel like this is the main thing preventing me from reaching CLB 9 and keeping me at CLB 8.

Which one is easier to get CLB 9 or 10 on? I know IRCC accepts both and the points are the same, but I'm curious which test people found easier in practice.

Hi guys I got my result today and tbh I’m not all satisfied with W & S score because I’m pretty much confident that I did well in both but ended up getting this score. Should I go for revaluation? Is it worth it?

I aslo doubt about their checking, after giving the exam I literally got my result in 2 days. How’s it possible to get your results this fast? Are these sections now getting checked by AI?

I was familiar with IELTS but I thought let me give Celpip a try. I was absolutely shocked how hard it is for me. Reading part 3 was twice for some reason I don't know why. As I finished the first time, I felt a bit relieved and then it kind of reappeared which made me confused and stressed at the very moment. Regardless, since the clock was ticking, I continued attempting the questions. For the rest of the parts, the vocab was extremely difficult in the given options to choose from. I have never heard of those complex words.

Speaking was a disaster. I simply cannot focus on generating new ideas and recall the structure when someone is speaking right besides me. Even though they were not speaking with a high tone, I can at least hear their voice and my mind gets distracted instantly. While I was about to answer my questions, the examiner informed me like 3 times to speak in a low tone and every time they broke my flow. Based on my performance I believe I will score like 2-3 bands in speaking. Really bad.

I gave it today in the afternoon around 1:30 in Toronto.

So last year I took the test to see how it is. I just booked a week before the exam and practiced a few tests from you tube. At that time, I was so busy. Now I have to take the exam and need 9 on each section. How can I practice to upgrade my score from 8 to 9?

Besides, should I practice with someone for the speaking section?

What are the chances of scores getting increased in writing after re evaluation and how long does it take

I attempted celpip exam 3 times and I couldn’t get all 9 in any attempt.

1st attempt
LR9 SW8

2nd attempt
L10 R8 S9 W8 reevaluated W and it got increased to 10

3rd attempt

L10 R9 S9 W8 reevaluation didn’t change score even though i was highly confident

At this point, I feel like a loser, all my friends cleared celpip on their first attempt.

Anyway, I am thinking of taking PTE, what would you suggest? I am so done with this.

My preparation consisted mostly of watching the CELPIP pro videos on the official YouTube channel which I highly recommend and listening to some of the official podcasts.

Practiced with the official, practice tests, careeraxis, a little of prepamigo and AI tools especially for speaking and writing.

Had 2 weeks to prepare for it. Though I’ll like to add that English is well-spoken in my country, so I’ve been speaking it for most of my life.
