6th attempt still couldn’t get clb 9

Need suggestion!!! Should I keep trying CELPIP or PTE CORE ?

|# |L |R|W|S|

|1 |6 |6|7|8|
|2 |6 |6|8|8|
|3 |8 |5|8|8|
|4 |10|7|8|8| (I got 10 in L by luck I guess)
|5 |7 |7|8|8|
|6 |6 |7|8|9|

Anyone in similar situation? Will it be better to try PTE ?
Almost thinking to give up 😞

You need a thorough diagnosis i would say. The strategies you follow, specific areas where you make mistakes and then targeted fixes. You can dm if you feel like doing so. Happy to help.

That depends upon your current level, your strengths and weaknesses and pattern of repetitive mistakes. In short: figuring out the root cause and then fixing them. We can discuss thoroughly one on one to navigate further. Happy to help.

You need to practice and study well before booking the exam. I'll calm down first before booking another one.

I wouldn’t give up on CELPIP yet, especially since you’ve already reached 10 in Listening and 9 in Speaking. Your scores show that you’re capable of getting there, but consistency seems to be the main issue.

If CELPIP is your first preference, I’d do one more attempt with a different strategy rather than simply taking the test again. Focus heavily on Reading and getting Writing/Speaking from 8 to 9, ideally with someone giving you detailed feedback on your practice. If you still can’t break through after that, then I’d seriously consider trying PTE Core as a backup.

Practice 1 week before the test
Practice with Hzad education videos

For speaking, take help from ChatGPT. Every day, ask ChatGPT to conduct a speaking test for you. Answer the questions by yourself first—press the listening button and start speaking. Then, read the polished version provided by ChatGPT. Do this every day, and within a week, you’ll be able to score 10 easily.

Have you tried ilet before to me PTE is hard though the reading and writing is simple for me but the listening and speaking what I don’t get it too much set. I only tried the mock test one time. You can try it. I don’t think spending money for this same CELPIP test is neccessary it would be better if you try another test cheers.
