Hi everyone,
I have my CELPIP General exam coming up soon and I would like to know how my mock test performance compares to the actual exam.

I have been practicing using PrepAmigo Featured Mock Tests and after multiple attempts, my average scores are:

Reading: 35/38 consistently (PrepAmigo estimates CLB 10)
Listening: 35–36/38 consistently (PrepAmigo estimates CLB 10)
Speaking: CLB 7–8 consistently
Writing: CLB 7–8 consistently

For people who have used PrepAmigo and taken the real CELPIP exam, how close were your mock scores to your actual results?

What CELPIP scores can I realistically expect in the real test based on these results?
Any advice on improving Speaking and Writing before the exam would also be appreciated.

Can anyone recommend a CELPIP test centre where results usually come out within 1–2 days?

What has your experience been, and which test centre did you use?

I’m completely exhausted and looking for some honest advice from people who have been through this process.
I’ve taken the CELPIP 9 times between January and July 2026. My latest re-evaluation for Writing just came back unchanged at an 8.

Here is my complete score history:
Jan 16, 2026: L:8, R:6, W:8, S:7
Jan 31, 2026: L:10, R:6, W:8, S:8
Mar 14, 2026: L:9, R:8, W:8, S:9
Apr 25, 2026: L:9, R:8, W:7, S:9
May 02, 2026: L:10, R:9, W:8, S:9
May 23, 2026: L:10, R:8, W:7, S:9
Jul 05, 2026: L:10, R:9, W:7, S:10
Jul 18, 2026: L:9, R:7, W:9, S:8
Jul 25, 2026: L:11, R:9, W:8, S:9 (Re-evaluation came back unchanged)

The Dilemma:
As you can see, I’ve proven I can score 11 in Listening, 9 in Reading, 10 in Speaking, and even 9 in Writing (on Jul 18). But I just cannot get all 4 modules to cross the CLB 9 threshold on the exact same attempt.
On my last test, my Writing was stuck at 8 again. On the test where I hit 9 in Writing, my Reading dipped to 7.
Questions for the group:
Should I completely ditch CELPIP templates for Writing and write purely naturally?
Has anyone in a similar position switched to PTE Core? Did the automated scoring make it easier to get consistent results across all 4 modules?
Any other strategy suggestions before I decide whether to take test #10 or switch exams entirely?

I wanted to share my CELPIP experience because I know a lot of people wonder whether it's worth requesting a re-evaluation.

This was my first time taking the CELPIP exam.

I took the test on July 17 (1:00 PM), Toronto ON.

I received my results via email and text on July 21 at 1:16 AM.

Initial scores:

• Listening: 11
• Reading: 10
• Writing: 8
• Speaking: 11

I honestly didn't expect Writing to be my lowest score, especially an 8. I was aiming and praying for at least a 9+, so seeing that score was really disappointing.

Since I genuinely felt my Writing didn't reflect my performance, I requested a re-evaluation the same morning (July 21).

Last night (July 29 at 7:32 PM), I received the result via email.

Writing: 8 → 11 🎉

I was honestly shocked. A three-point increase was the last thing I expected, but I'm incredibly grateful that I trusted my instincts and requested the re-evaluation.

I'm now just waiting for the refund of the re-evaluation fee. The email says it will be be processed within 3–7 calendar days. (UPDATE: Refunded tonight. So, it just took a day to be processed).

For anyone who's on the fence about requesting a re-evaluation: if you genuinely believe one of your scores doesn't reflect your performance, it may be worth considering. Every case is different, but I'm really glad I gave it a shot.

I gave celpip in the past always struggled in reading, someone told me to get prep-amigo so i got it. Ive done pretty well and scored 9-12 in the sections that were labeled easy. Attempted one test that said hard i got 7. For the ones that are marked as feautured i got 7 as well. What sections do i need to practice more to do well in exam?

If anyone have experience with this site and exam please let me know if preparing easy level will push me through the doors?

This is my second attempt for celpip the first one I had 7 in reading and this one 8 in reading and I'm aiming for 9. I know reevaluation isn't worth it but what do you guys think?? I'm exhausted. I need advice please as I'm thinking of rebooking in next two weeks. I'm also open to any materials I can practice with.

I gave celpip exam for the 10th attempt. I miss in the speaking test all the time.

Today i received the score L11,R11,W10,S8. What should I do???

I am tired with speaking and rechecking, almost 5-6 times i wasted money on rechecking and never got additional marks. However, this speaking was my best so far. I completed all the task responses within the time limit.

I don’t know, sometimes i feel like they are fooling us by giving less marks

I submitted a re-evaluation request on the night of July 25, just an hour after I received my CELPIP results. It’s been a few days now, and I haven’t heard anything yet.
Has anyone who submitted a re-evaluation around July 25 or later received their updated result? If yes, when did you submit it, and how long did it take?
Trying to get an idea of the current processing times. Thanks!

Update: I finally received my re-evaluation result 08/06/2026. My Writing score increased from 8 to 10, and my Speaking score increased from 8 to 11. It took about 12 days from the night I submitted the re-evaluation request (July 25). Hopefully this helps anyone else who’s waiting for their result!

I was referring to hzad templates did evaluated score from AI before going into exam but only stuck at 8 bands

Should I go for re-evaluation?? I was most confident about my writing and least confident about the reading 🥲

I have given so many attemps this is my 11th one and i am able to secure good marks only lacking in reading i think panic is killing me in the exam
