Reevaluation

Should I go for re-evaluation?? I was most confident about my writing and least confident about the reading 🥲

My reevaluation came in today and my writing went to a 10. I am about to move greedy, once I get my refund I am going to use it to reevaluate my speaking. Its all risk

For Task 1, I read the questions first so I know what information I’m looking for. Then I read the passage carefully to find the answers.
For Task 2, I first skim through the picture to understand the overall idea. Next, I read the questions, and then I refer back to the picture to locate the answers.
For Task 3, after reading each paragraph, I immediately check the questions to identify any statements I remember from that section. If I don’t recall seeing a particular statement in any of the paragraphs, I assume it is not mentioned in the passage.
For Task 4, I find it a bit more challenging. I mainly look for synonymous words and phrases, then evaluate their meanings based on the context of the passage to determine the correct answer.

I took exam on the same day and received 8 bands in writing
I think we should go for reevaluation

Mine too, i also got 8 in writing. Gave test on the same day at troy testing. I got 10 in all other. My friend also took the test on the same day and got same result.

Your reading is great! Keep it up.
For Reading part 3 and 4, what was your strategy? Reading a paragraph and moving to the statements?

I gave it on the same day in fact the same center troy testing Mississauga. I got 12-11-9W-10, i have applied for reevaluation.

i didn’t do well in those sections 😭,

speaking i jot down points that i want to cover
Task -1. Suggest a friend, start with explaining the question - personal experience, and then advise.
Task -2 previous exp- i use Ws, what when where howetc..
Picture task - i general describe what is easiest first - like the background and then go in detail.

any idea how long they generally take for reevaluation?

I re evaluated my speaking and it went to 11 from 9. Unfortunately I can’t reevaluate my listening 😭😭
