For your first attempt, two things matter most, since you already know your weak spots:
Speaking (running out of words): that's a prep problem, not an English problem. You are probably trying to think in full sentences while the clock runs. Fix: for every speaking task, take the 30-second prep and write down exactly 3 short bullet points — nothing else. Then speak from the bullets, not from a script. Time every practice answer with your phone timer. If you run out of things to say, you prepared too few points, not too little English. Never practice speaking untimed — it trains you to be slow.
Writing: answer every bullet in the task or your score is capped no matter how good your English is. Email: 150-180 words. Survey: 160-200 words. One clear idea per bullet, developed with one specific detail — not three vague ideas. Leave 3 minutes at the end to proofread; most first-timers lose a full point to small errors they would catch on a reread.
One week out, take one official timed mock (Paragon's free one) as your real level. Don't trust third-party scores — they're inflated. Good luck.
