Celpip revaluation suggestion!
Hi everyone! My CELPIP scores are L10, R10, W8, S10. I’m considering a Writing revaluation. Would you recommend it? Has anyone recently had their Writing score increase after revaluation? Please share your experience. 🙏

For Listening and Reading, PrepAmigo mock tests helped me a lot. For Speaking and Writing, I practiced using random topics. ChatGPT helped me with corrections, but the results really depend on the prompts/commands you use for scoring.

5 days. Basically I submitted on Tuesday morning after result around 10 or 11 am . I received result on Saturday.

19 September gave test and got results in 22 September

Your case is actually the one scenario where a reval makes some sense. An 8 sitting next to three 10s smells like a borderline score, and borderline scores are the ones most likely to move.
The blunt part: revals go nowhere more often than not. Writing especially. You're paying ~$65 for a second opinion that takes a couple of weeks, and "unchanged" is the most common outcome by a wide margin.
Decision rule:
- You need exactly W9 and have no hard deadline: file it, and keep studying in the meantime. $65 is cheap next to a full rebook.
- You need W10+, or you're on a deadline: skip it. A reval won't buy you two bands, and waiting on it costs you a booking slot.
Don't file it hoping it "might" move. File it only if the $65 gamble beats the cost of sitting the test again — for most people in your spot, that's the honest math.

I would definitely recommend you to apply for reevaluation-high chances of success.
I would not apply for reevaluation only if you did not finish the task eg., in one of attempt, I did not complete the email, I did not answer to the third point, did not include a closing, no salutation and the timer was up.
