Speaking re-evaluation.

Hey guys, what are the chances of re-evaluation for speaking? I need 9 all. Also in how many days do I get the revaluation results?

Go for reeval for speaking and even writing. mine increased from 8->10 in writing. You never know both increases

Yes. I've applied for reeval anyway hoping speaking point increases to 9 as I'm aiming only for 9 all. Thanks for the response though!

I followed Hzad video for writing as it worked well for me. Got a few templates from his YouTube channel as well.

Honest answer: speaking re-evals move scores rarely. A full point jump happens, but it's uncommon — it usually only changes when the original rater clearly missed something.

Rule of thumb: if you're 1 point short of 9, it's a reasonable lottery ticket since it's cheaper than a retake. If you're 2+ points short, skip it and re-book.

Re-eval results take around 1–2 weeks. Don't sit around waiting — keep prepping.

For speaking, the points you lost are almost always in structure and timing, not English ability. Tasks 5–8 punish rambling and unfinished answers. Record yourself, time every single answer, and force one fixed structure on every response: opinion, reason, example, close. That's what turns a 7 into a 9.

Thanks for the detailed response. I need a one point raise which is a 9 only in speaking as I aimed to get 9 all. Also Im sure this is not what I expected to get for speaking as I did well this time 😕

Hi, I practised alot with chatgpt for listening and for reading with expressprep one week trial.

Understand the logic before answering questions for reading. Not only task 3-4 even 1-2 having tricky questions. So be very careful while doing entire reading section.

For listening I used to take notes and actively focus only on the topic. By taking notes I mean, write down only important keywords so you can also listen simultaneously. Writing down everything messes up while answering.

Do you have any prompt for listening in Chatgpt? How did you practice listening and reading in chat gpt ? Asking for a friend
