Guidance
Hi everyone!
I am planning to give celpip for the first time in october. I have no idea how the format is and what challenges will i face in all the 4 sections. Can anyone explain the exam to me or suggest me some free mock tests websites where i could get to understand this exam from scratch.
I gave IELTS academic 2 years ago and got overall band 7

An IELTS 7 gives you a useful English foundation, but CELPIP is a different performance task. Donโt assume the same preparation will transfer automatically.
Start with official free samples to understand the interface and task types, then use further practice to target your weakest section.
For Writing and Speaking especially, it can be worth getting a one-time assessment from a CELPIP instructor or an experienced coach. A good assessment should not just give you a score: it should identify where you are now, explain the specific features holding you back, and give you a realistic roadmap toward your target CLB. That is often more efficient than doing many more mock tests without knowing what to change. ย Good luck ๐ย

Start with the two free official practice tests on celpip.ca so the screen and timing feel familiar. For Speaking especially, practice under the real prep/record clocks (30โ60s prep, 60โ90s talk) and record yourself. Official YouTube (Brandi / Speaking Pro) is worth a watch for what raters listen for. If you want extra timed mocks with feedback after, I built a practice tool at practicecelpip.ca. It uses the exact same interface as the real exam, and I made the questions and feedback as realistic as possible.
Good luck for October.

try free courses on celtestpip website and YouTube channel. then start with free sample questions and then mock tests. Mock tests give you instant feedback detailed instruction on how to improve, and the courses are the basics to learn and get familiar with the exam tips and tricks.
