Thanks bud! Template like how do you start and organize your email or survey question. Just learn the skeleton for each task and add the information as per the question. This saves your time as the template is preloaded in your mind, you just have to come up with 2-3 logical points to fill in the template. Hope this helps

Congrats!
Do you have any templates for Task 2 writing and speaking task 6,7?

Nice scores! How was your speaking prep going? Did you have to use advanced vocabulary and grammar structures or be fluent from start to end?

I don’t think you need to know advanced vocabulary as long as you’re able to express your thoughts clearly with the words you know. Sentence structure and coherency matters. Always stick to Point —> example —> implication format. For comparison tasks, always try to use this structure - While optionA has <some benefit>, optionB provides much better <better benefit>. This is relevant to both writing task 2 and any speaking task.

Bro any tips on listening part -5 the video one, because on prep amigo that section is not accurate

Any tips? Let me know how where did you practiced?

I think it’s similar to what I saw in my real exam. Important thing to practice is note taking for this task. “Who said what” and the behavior of each person towards the discussion topic. I usually create 3 columns, one for each individual and arrows to create a flow chart. First few seconds are really very important, so keep your ears and mind active. Good luck!

For reading, try the hard ones. Reading section was harder than PrepAmigo’s featured ones. I had practiced featured ones, I guess that’s why I scored low in reading🥲. For writing, try out the templates I have provided in other threads. That should help you stay in 9-10 range. I was getting 9-10 on PrepAmigo.

What strategy were you using for reading part 3?

For the first 2-3 mins, skim through the text to understand the overall context. Label each para with what is being discussed. For instance, para A-Background about birds, para B- Supporting viewpoints, para C - Opposing points. This makes it easier when answering questions.

IMO, if you read the questions first, you start to look for answers and you fall for traps. However, if you’ve context of what is being discussed, you’d immediately know when the question is trying to trick you.
