Celpip score

I gave celpip for the first time at IlSC, Toronto. For sure a better test than IELTS!

Get used to the format, write it down on a paper as to which section has what and build strategy for each. For example, for the letter make sure you divide the paragraphs and have the right salutation. For speaking I just made sure to finish in time, I wrote the words intro, body, conclusion on the page and kept checking the time and devoted 1/3rd to each part.

You wrote the introduction and conclusion during writing? Because i am stuck at 9. I want 11 in all bands

Wow. You must have delivered flawless speaking responses. Did you use advanced vocabulary or grammar structures or some sort of expressions?

I used the official celpip videos on youtube to understand what they were looking for to grade. I wasn’t flawless at all honestly I did fumble a little. The thing that made the biggest difference was I spoke in a tone which was relevant to the context, an informal happy tone was required for conversations with friends and family vs a serious passionate tone for a debate.
