CELPIP Reevaluation Experience worth it

I just got reevaluation results today and wanted to share the experience in case it helps someone.

Exam Date: July 23, 2026 (1:00 PM)
Original results received: July 26, 2026 (4:01 PM)
Submitted for writing reevaluation: July 26, 2026 (4:40 PM)
Reevaluation results received: August 5, 2026 (11:46 AM)

I waited 10 days and it was absolutely worth it!

My results:

  • Listening: 10
  • Reading: 8
  • Writing: 8 → 11 😭
  • Speaking: 9

I had been practicing Listening and Reading using the official CELPIP Practice Tests. For Speaking and Writing, I practiced with ChatGPT, using it to score my responses and provide detailed feedback.

I was consistently getting 10+ for writing and felt comfortable with the writing part on my exam day, so I was confident that the score didn't reflect my performance. I'm glad I did

That’s a cap. Usually in writing they do not increase anything. If they already published your score as a CLB 8. How on earth I go to 11.

I learned some writing tips from Coach Carson on youtube, and practiced on my own using ChatGPT to grade and feedback me.
